3D-printed replacement part

Send the broken original, or its two halves, and it comes back as a working part and as a file you keep.

  • What you approve.
  • What goes back on the machine.

Lead times run from a day for something small to a fortnight for a batch, and the quote names the setting before the print happens. Nothing here is a part we stock: it is your part, printed once the drawing is agreed.

Where the original was moulded in something that fails in heat or sunlight, the replacement can be printed in a polymer chosen for where it actually lives.

How it goes

The original is measured, redrawn and shown to you as a dimensioned model before anything goes on the plate, so the first print is the one you fit.

What makes it fit first time

  • Name the one feature you would reject the part over: a bore, a spacing, a mating face. That feature gets the tolerance.
  • Send the broken original if you have it. A part in the hand beats a photograph every time, and it comes back with the print.
  • Say where it lives. A part in a car in August and the same part under a sink are different materials.

Made to your drawing

Send the drawing and we print it.

A file and two sentences is a quotable enquiry. The quote comes back the same working day with the settings we intend to use, and an opinion about how the part will behave in the direction it is actually loaded.
